A Place I Once Knew

For starters - lineart once again by yours truly, colouring by the child prodigy .

I recently pulled Peter Pan out of my collection to study for it's animation (truly spectacular!).
I admired Wendy most of all as a character though. For me she embodies the sadness of being female - Wendy above anyone else adores Peter Pan and Neverland, but she also accepts that she must grow up and assume the responsibilities of a young woman.

Hence the idea behind this - grounded in reality and surrounded by where she would truly love to be.
